Agavales Gold tequila is a 100% Blue Agave product (the "gold" may mistakenly mislead people into considering the product a "mixto" tequila, which is something less than 100% Blue Agave) blended down to the traditional 80 proof versus their blanco product which comes in at 110 proof. Like all Agavales tequilas, the agave is cooked in a traditional brick oven and then distilled in traditional copper pot stills.
